how to make a 1994 corolla dx 1.8l quick off the line?

im 16, i like to go fast(obviously), and i bought a corolla for $600 and it runs like a charm. i run about 9 seconds 0-60 and i want to hit about 6 if possible. what are cheap parts i can put in to make it faster? example intake, headers...etc..

NOTE:before you say im a speeding asshole, no im not. i go the speed limit. i just like to accelerate fast. i only accelerate fast when there are no cars around.

careful accelerating if its wet or snowy and in corners. Anyways i doubt you can get it to 6 seconds. as i doubt its at 9 right now. A subaru Sti i was just looking at does 5 seconds and thats 300 hp turbo charged. Anyways you basically already know exhaust, headers, intake, See if you can turbo or super charge anyways GL

There is a difference between going fast and going 0-60. If you are looking at faster acceleration then you should buy a vehicle with higher torque for off the line launches and good hp for speed. A light weight car helps to, but you got a corolla man, no sense into dumping money into a car that is only worth about $500 if that. Get over it, drive safely and save your money for a decent car.

The only thing you're going to do quicker is land your car in the junk yard, trying to hop it up. You can pull the engine and have it rebuilt to perfect balance and bigget displacement. You can have the intake ports polished and coated with ceramic. You can get the cam reground or set retarded 2 degrees. All this will add stress and affect reliaility. As it is, the car is quick enough to get on the freeway and merge with traffic like everybody else. If you want quicker, trade it for a kawasaki Ninja. It might just thrill you to death though.
