I am loosing water/antifreze in my 1987 Toyota Supra?

Default I am loosing water/antifreze in my 1987 Toyota Supra?
I went to 1 mechanic and was told I needed a head gasket or may have a cracked head. Another mechanic said I needed a new turbo. How can I be sure I go with the right mechanic's solution. Is there a way to check witch one is loosing the water? Can I disconnect the water from the turbo and run it long enough to see if I am still loosing water without damaging the turbo?

Head Gasket. 7mgte Famous flaw. Go to toyota for the new one. They changed them to prevent recurance. And use new stud's

Well if you have a blown head then you need to see if there is water mixed or antifreeze mixed in with the oil check your dip stick. I would also just see if you just have a antifreeze leak.
