it all depends on your car's condition and how well it's been maintained. if you're unsure enough to be asking on yahoo, i highly suggest you get it checked out by a trusted mechanic. 150k isn't a lot of miles on modern cars, so if the mechanic says it's good then it's good.
if you're taking a trip this long in an older car, just make sure you check on the basics. before you leave, i definitely suggest you have the oil changed. you're going to putting a decent bit of stress on this car for an extended period of time, you don't want your oil breaking down on you. make sure your tires are in good shape, you're going to need them(especially if you hit bad weather on an unfamiliar highway). make sure you have a spare, a jack, and a lug wrench. also, keep some jumper cables handy in the trunk. and last, ALWAYS keep a blanket in the trunk(you never know).
