Alternator Fuse on 1986 Toyota Supra?

Default Alternator Fuse on 1986 Toyota Supra?
I bought a 1986 N/A mk3 Supra and found the fuse for the alternator to be two wires twisted together. Is there anything else that should be in its place. I think there is supposed to be some kind of regulator in it, but I'm not sure. Thanks

I don't necessarily know where these two wires were at, but if they were by the (hypothetical) fuse panel most likely they melted the fuse holder and thats why, someone twisted the wires together You could buy at your nearest auto parts a fuse holder and a 7.5 amp fuse and butt connect the holder . now it would be as good as new with a slight modification. your car does use a regulator,but most likely its located in the engine compartment, (probably) against the firewall . I don't know for sure because it depends whether this car is an early or late model. hope this idea works for you.
