Default What is considered too many miles for a Toyota Celica?
Year: 2001















Miles: 182,000















Maintenance: well maintained































I've been told Toyota's are well made cars and last forever if they are well maintained regularly. My mother and her boyfriend have Toyota's and they never break down or have any problems so I thought it would be a good car to get me through college.































Yes or no?















Spense - so yeah or no??

That is a LOT for a 2001! Wow. My 1985 celica supra has 355000 km so like 220000 miles.































But yeah Toyotas run forever

its true that toyotas run forever, but they DO need to be well taken care of. if the previous owners ran it hard or messed around with the engine themselves, that 182,000 miles is a lot. my celica lasted 105,000 before i blew the engine. my friends lasted 50k. we both obsessively maintained our cars, but we ran them hard. its all about the past owners. also if the carfax is clean, that car should cost no more than 5.5k
