Not sure about above as the 2jz is a top performance engine as is the RB engines.Bothe engines take well to mods and both have power which would run out when your pocket does on there tt models and we see rb25det's engines running over 1000bhp hp as for takes more mods as said both are tuner engines so simple mods release great power figures,in my town a bloke has not spend close to a mass of money and runs 800bhp out of his rb25 and did the work on the roadside outside of his house.
Both engines are great the RB20 is a good tunbale torque engine and can see impressive power figures but i would not replace the 2JZ TT with it the 2jz na engine then yes.
High power top tuners the world over run RB engines in there Skylines due to the fact the Skyline can last at higher output against the 2JZ which fails early,not my opinion but facts from tuners IE Top secret where Smokey runs his Supra's with RB engines and a few other engines.
