Default why does my 1995 toyota camry sputter when i slowly give it gas , but not when i rev it...
...up?p real fast ? we have changed the distributor and cap , fuel throttle positoiner throttle sensor , spark plugs and wires , we put the car back on time , changed the fuel and oil filter , it dies when it comes to a stop and dies when u put it in gear. its like overloading , and i dont know how to fix it , it reaks of gas when its running and has black smoke coming out .

You have a miss in the system, either a plugged injector or defective plug. At the low end you will feel it. Once you rev up the RPMs its not so noticeable.

MAF/MAP(app) sensor.















leaky injector.















cold start injector stuck.















general vacuum leak (typically accompanied by pinging).















t-belt issue-non-interference engine.































i would not think it's an ignition issue. that tends to be more evident @ rpm as the coil has less time to saturate.
