Could be low on coolant, though having heat points towards no a little
Could have a plugged radiator would still have heat
Likely though a bad thermostat. It is a device which blocks the engine coolant and forces the coolant to bypass the radiator but not the heater. When warm enough the spring in the thermostat contracts and lets coolant to the radiator. Over time the spring loses it's ability to contract. It is a cheap fix and good place to start.
