Default Can a 91 Camry pull a small utility trailer?
I am moving across country, and my friend says pulling a trailer with my Camry will be too much on the engine and the transmission.

Its not enough torque to get it moving. Will damage frame of car trying.

As long as the trailer and load are under 1,000lb you will be alright.































99% of the cars on the road can haul/pull a 1,000lb load with no problem what so ever!

Check the owners manual, but if memory serves, you can pull a very small trailer with this car. Is this a V6 or an I4 Camry? If it's a V6, you should have no problems, if it's an I4, be careful you don't overheat the tranny or engine. If you have the time, I'd have an auxiliary transmission cooler installed.
