Default i have a 1985 toyota 4x4 that wont rev passed 2500 rpms?
any idea why this could be the guy im gettin it from says he swapped in to test the following















air flow meter















throttle positon senser















ecu















injectors, fuel pump,filter















any ideas

probably the belts are stuffing up. yea check the throttle sensor

are we omitting some symptoms here?















what exactly does it do when approaching 2500 rpm.































i'm guessing the ecu is in limp mode for whatever reason. if an ecu is swapped for trouble shooting purposes, and the issue remains, that to will go to limp mode.































i would pull the EFI 15amp main fuse for 30 sec to reset it. key off. then start and duplicate the issue. pull codes.
