What's wrong with my 1990 Toyota corolla? It has been not starting randomly.?

Checked battery, alternator, and starter which are all ok. Is completely silent when not deciding to start.

Well, first it is a Toyota and that is to be pretty much expected. Did you replace the cables from the battery? Check both your gearshift sensor and also your steering wheel lock sensor as they can do exactly what you describe when not functioning properly.

if your starting system checks OK, wires, starter, battery, alt(?), then you want to check the neutral safety switch. either on the clutch peddle for a manual transmission, or for an auto transmission, on the side of trans itself. another possibility is the ignition switch on the back of the tumbler.

there is a starter relay in a connector box in the bay that could be intermittent. have to look for that one. should be close to the battery. relays/fuses ID's are on the box cover.
