it all depends on what type of car you are looking for. I have a 2000 celica gt-s and a 2000 camry. of course, if you are looking for something with a little more power, go with the celica. the camry is reasonably larger and is a little better on gas, but I honestly dont think the camry has enough power. I love the way my celica handles, and I think with 4 cylinder sports cars, get one that has a manual transmission because the automatics just dont get high enough into the rpms to really get the full power out of it, and the celica is a lot more comfortable than you would think it is. I'm 6'2" and I fit in my car fine. as far as price goes, I would think that somewhere between 4 and 6 thousand would be good. just be sure to get the cars checked before you buy, and maybe test drive both to be sure on your choice.
