Currently you have the GT which is powered by the 1ZZ-FE rated at 140 bhp @ 6400 rpm.































Swap it with a Toyota Celica GT-S 2ZZ-GE engine rated at 180 bhp @ 8,200 rpm. I'm not sure if this will bolt up to your automatic transmission though.

best thing to do is put a 2zz engine with a six speed gearbox and add a supercharger

there are two engines in your car.. the 1zz-fe engine which comes in the GT and the 2zz-ge which comes in the GTS. the GT tranny will not fit a GTS engine,































you can also swap a 3sgte engine in you car, but that is custom modification...































swapping the 2zz engine in you car also requires alot of work, all accesories have to be changed (PS pump, AC, alternator) everything.































you best be is to boost the engine you currently have. the 1zz is a great platform, and with the right work, you can make 400+ HP from them. (i know someone personally who has)
