your breaks don't work at all? you could check the fluid level, it it's empty then you have a hole in a line. If they work but are grinding then replace the pads and rotors. If you have no idea what I'm talking about then tow it to a mechanic

If you mean that the ABS is not working you probably have a bad wheel speed sensor. You need an expensive scan tool that is ABS capable to scan ABS systems. Many times the wheel speed sensor is just starting to fail and you need to drive the vehicle with the scan tool hooked up to manually watch each of the 4 sensors speeds to see which one is different and causing the problem.
