only one. on the exhaust down pipe just b4 the cat.
o2 sensor is cheap enough, and can very well be the issue, but i wouldn't listen to those who suggest replacing parts as a trouble shooting process. unless that's how you want to do it.
so, here's some diagnostic procedures for this platform. no scanner tool needed. six inch piece of insulated wire and two alligator clips (toys SST tool) to jump TE1 and E1 terminals on the DLC1 (data link connector box) is all you need to have the ignition blink at you.

FYI, not all codes stored toss a light. so if it ain't lit, don't let that stop you from pulling codes.
and, with this type issue, it's advised to start with a fresh ignition tune up and air filter.
