Replacing a cylinder is practically rebuilding an engine. Its around 2k for an engine rebuild, but it varies.

need more info depends on what cylinder you are talking about brake cyl.clutch cyl.piston cyl.

Why rebuild when you can just swap the engine for a low mileage Japanese engine? It will cost you less and it will have a 6-month warranty. The swap could be done in two or three days whereas a bottom end rebuild can take a week or more from a shop. Do a search on used low mileage engines in your area. Also check EBay to give you an idea of what one will cost you.
