Can I swap tires - Toyota Sienna 205/70/r15 and Ford Taurus 205/65/r15?

Default Can I swap tires - Toyota Sienna 205/70/r15 and Ford Taurus 205/65/r15?
I have a 98 Ford Taurus with brand new 205/65/r15 tires and am buying a 2001 Toyota Sienna that has 205/70/r15 tires. Could I swap the tires since I want the Toyota Sienna to have the newer set?

Yes. No difference other than your speedometer will read 3% faster and your odometer will register 3% more mileage than you actually traveled.

Your Toyota Sienna road clearance will be lowered since you are using a smaller radius tires. No much harm if you are not the performance oriented driver. Change back to the original size when time to replace the tires.
