on the steering column lock cyl,
you have to pull the shroud, remove steering wheel, combo switch, disconnect ignition switch wire lead, drop column, both brackets and let it rest on the seat. the steering lock mechanism/bracket itself will have two bolts with round heads to fasten to the column. have to grind slots in those to accept a flat blade screw driver. i used a dremmel with a cut off wheel. actually, i match-marked the spline on the steering shaft where it plugs in at your feet, removed assem, and took the it into the house. then unscrew and slide the entire steering lock assem off the steering shaft. that's what you'll need to take to a smithy.
the bolt on mine were round heads. yours may very well be torx type with a tit in the center you have to break off b4 removal.
