Default i just changed my front and rear brake pads on 2000 toyota camry it was raining when i
started the last one? it was the rear drivers side and now going in reverse sounds fine but going forward i hear a squeak coming from that side so i pulled the e brake to see if it would reset and now both sides have seized up can someone please help me?

Are your rear breaks drum breaks?































Sounds like your parking brake has gotten stuck, which leads me to think that your back brakes are indeed drum brakes... I hate drum brakes, such a pain to work on.































I doubt the rain had very little if anything to do with the issue. If park brake is stuck then you need to go back and check the brake caliper that its connected to and see whats up. If its drum breaks maybe you got a spring put in wrong.































Follow up on your work since you have ran into issue's.































With more info I can provide you with more advice if you want. Oh and not trying to be a smart*** but did you release the ebrake by chance to see if your wheels unseized?
