There were two different gas/petrol motors offered in the 80 series. In the US, it was a 3FE motor for 1991-1992 (and maybe some 1993s), and a 1FZ-FE from then until the end of the series in 1997. There doesn't seem to be a huge difference between the two in fuel economy, but the 3FE makes a fair bit less power overall, resulting in slower acceleration.































Completely stock and in good operating condition, it's reasonable to expect 16-17 miles per gallon, or about 7 km/l.
