@A - The 300ZX is also available with a turbo. You can also find the 300zx with T-Tops, but they are super rare.
The MR2 is a mid-engined car so it will behave differently as far as stability is concerned. They drive totally different due to the variance in weight distribution. The MR2 is lighter though, and the engine will run over 300,000 miles. BUT, you may be able to extract more power out of the 300zx, and if you're a mechanic yourself, the nissan engine is easier to access.
In my opinion, both cars are classics, and both need to be test driven (if possible, on the same road).
Either way, you have chosen two great cars! I just think the MR2 is sexier.
