2010 Toyota Rav4 tire pressure warning symbol?

Default 2010 Toyota Rav4 tire pressure warning symbol?
i just took my car to adjust the pressure for all of my tires ar a gas station.















the recommended pressure is 32psi, but i filled them to around 34-36psi since the weather's getting cold.















the symbol, however, is still lit up. is there something wrong with the pressure still or does it take a while for the light to go off?















(the light's not blinking so it's not a system error, i don't think)

Check your spare tire, as was mentioned. But sometimes you have to drive for 10-15 minutes before the light will go off.

You need to reset the system. You need to look for the the Tire Pressure Switch. It should say SET on it. It should be located under the steering wheel or inside the glove compartment. Once you find the button turn the key to the ON position without turning the vehicle on. Press and hold the button and in about 5 sec the tire pressure warning light will begin to flash. Keep holding the button until the flashing stops. Once this is done cycle the key and you should be good. The following web site shows how the switch/buttton looks light and a slightly different way of doing it. But should also work

You need to reset the tire pressure monitor gauge. If you are unaware about how to do this, please check your owners manual or just stop by your local Toyota dealership and ask someone in service to help you out. It is something that can be done very easily so someone should help you at no charge.
