The Vehicle stability control might be working overtime to conpensate for bald tires slipping and skidding. It may be from bad road conditions or bad driving habits as well as bald tires. There's no discussion that will put tread back on the tires. If you had the transmission rebuilt because the VSC light was on, at least now you know the transmission is in good shape. I only hope you really DID need the transmission rebuilt because the job must have been very expensive. Often the VSC light will come on to let you know the road is slippery and that the computer is making corrections- like in heavy rainstorms
