Starting problem with 4Runner?

Default Starting problem with 4Runner?
I have a 86 4Runner 22re that wont start anymore. Before all i did was tighten the connections on the battery and it started just fine. I replaced battery and it wouldnt start but the dash panel lights lit up dimly and the back window wouldnt go up. Engine wont even crank over at all. It never had problems starting before.

Bad ground somewhere else. Check the other end of the ground cable on the battery.

Also make sure the battery cables are clean where they go over the battery posts. Scrub them out with a wire brush.

Carefully unbolt the fuse block on the fender well and check the cables for corrosion. These trucks are known for the cable from the battery to the main fuse to corrode at under the fuse block.
