Probably because they're the newer models & either did it for a new style or had to put it in a different place for a reason .

Just a change in styling. Doesn't really matter, the Corolla S package is all show and no go. In other words, it's made to look like a performance car but it's the same as any other Corolla in terms of performance, handling, etc.

different market not all toyota's has a t in the front bumper grill
