Default Is there a rear axle on a 1993 Toyota Corolla?
I didn't see any under the car. I am not a mechanic just a normal everyday driver but the car does hesitate like it's low on rear-axle or transmission fluid. It could also be the front ball bearings or just needs an air filter. I need some practical advice since the car drives like it has the handbrake on.

Uh. . .Yea it kinda holds the wheels to the car. Have you been imitated to front wheel drive? Practical advice comes in two flavors. Get a book on the car or see a mechanic.

no axle or differential. not even axle beems. a true independent rear end.

do have fluids checked, but, you likely have an engine management issue.































need to diagnose the issue.















you can pull codes on this w/o a scanner tool. 6" piece of wire with two alligator clips and your keys are all you need. make the check engine light blink.

but given your inexperience, take it to a reputable ASE shop or the dealer for diagnosis.































as you suspect, it may simply need a tune up or a general induction sensor(s) cleaning. even a simple PCV(primary crankcase ventilation) valve/EGR(exhaust gas recirculatory) issue.
