How to replace headlamp in 2005 corolla?
The low beam headlight on the driver's right is out. My dad knows how to fix it but is too lazy to do it and won't tell me how. I checked the owners manual, and it said it takes a 55 watt type b. Does that mean I can walk into auto zone and ask for a 55 w type b low beam and it will work in my moms car? or is there more to it? Should I just bring the bulb into auto zone?
Also, the instructions on how to get to the light bulb weren't clear in the manual. I watched a video on youtube, and it said to take the plastic bumper cover off, but I seriously doubt it needs to be this complicated. Is it? Or are there just a few bolts under the hood? Thanks!
P.S. I replaced a headlight and tail light on a 99 chevrolet s-10 before, as well.
