Default Get a Replacement Key for a Toyota?
my friend has a 2006 Toyota Corolla















he lost his keys with the cars key and alarm control















the car is stuck in our university's parking garage















what does he need in order to get a new key form the toyota dealership















he is 500 miles away from home, the cars is in his dads name

Toyota requires for you to have your license and the current registration or the vehicle. But Toyota will no be able to do it unless the registered owner goes and asked for it personally. You friend may however speak to them and let them know the situation and maybe his father can fax something over giving him permission to get the key

The only place to get it is the dealer. However they should charge a lot less that $100. Call all the dealers in your area. The dealer that you called is trying to rip you off. You need serial number and proof of ownership.
