I bought my 07 Fj january of 08. It had a little over 32k on it. So far I have had to replace a tranny @ 58k due to a failing torque convertor which Toyota paid for thankfully. Other then that and normall wear and tear I haven't had any problems. I have also been rear ended twice seems to be a target for that. Destroyed the other cars and did minimal damage to the fj. Its a tank and I love it. Has anyone else's fj hit 100,000? What problems have you had with your fj? Would you buy another?
I'm sure the tranny problem was from human abuse. My 05 tacoma has your same drivetrain, I've got 129,000 with not 1 problem. I'm sure I will get a million more. It's all about maintenance. As far as getting rearended, stop longer and slower.
