What does it mean when a "o/d off" light comes on in my 2000 Toyota Camry dashboard?

Default What does it mean when a "o/d off" light comes on in my 2000 Toyota Camry dashboard?
I have looked in my Owner's Manual and found nothing on this. What do I need to do to get this turned off? Thanks.

There should be a either a button or a position of the gear shift lever that allows overdrive. It is usually marked with a "D" in a circle. If it is just a position on the gear shift it is the highest drive position.

it means overdrive is off. there is a little button under the larger thumb button on the shifter, and just press that. if the light still doesnt go off, its probably just a fuse or something that messed up making the light come on. but pressing that little button under the big one should make it go off. same thing happened to me and i just felt around and found the overdrive button.
