i have a 2000 toyota celica gt-s, so i would go with that if i were you. the gt isnt what most companies consider a "gt" which is the higher performance model. (depending on the year, earlier models did have the st, gt, and gt-s, so the gt would be a bit faster) but the 7th generation celica gt just has the 1zz-ge (corolla engine) and the gt-s has the 2zz-ge (same engine that is used in the lotus elise). toyota celicas are definitely reliable, as all toyotas are, but unless you plan on installing a turbo, go with the gt-s. if you do plan on turbo charging your car, get the gt because compression is too high on the gt-s. but yeah.... get a celica. i love mine. also, try to get one with a standard transmission, because with 4-cylinder sports cars, automatic transmissions shift too early and dont get high enough in the power band to get the full potential out of the car.
