You can do anything that you put your mind and money to but this will be hard unless the steering gear box already has fittings on it for the power steering hoses and I am betting that it does not. Still if you have the will and the time it might be done with salvaged parts from a similar car. If you car is turning hard try increasing the tire pressure up to the rated maximum to see if that helps a bit.

It would probably be very, very difficult. Remember you need EVERYTHING. A steering gear that will fit in place of the one you have. A power steering pump, mounting brackets, pulleys, hoses and a belt. And a reservoir to hold the fluid. I doubt that these small light cars ever had power steering as an option - so it will be hard (impossible?) to find parts in a salvage yard to fit. Make sure all your suspension and steering linkage is lubricated and working smoothly and you should be able to steer it ok.

there are conversion kits out there. but not for this platform that i can find. my suggestion is to google "power steering conversion" and call/email one of the suppliers for advice.































to add to Thomas's input,















it will need an idle up system on that as well. lest she die the instant you touch the steering wheel.































barely moving and being a little light on the brake when stopped so you don't have to overcome locked brakes will help a lot.
