Default Does anyone make manual hubs for Tundra?
MANY years ago I replaced the full time locked hubs in my Jeep Wagoneer with Warn manual hubs-stopping the whole front drive train from turning full time-My 03 Toyota Tundra only disconnects ONE SIDE when put in 2WD-does anyone make a set of manual hubs so that I may do the same thing I did for Jeep?

It's possible, but it's not as simple as just removing drive flanges and bolting on selectable hubs like your Waggy was.































Essentially, the conversion involves installing the spindles and outer axle assemblies from a 1996-2000 Tacoma. I think there are a couple companies that sell "kits" to do the job with everything you need. Off Road Solutions is one of them: http://www.offroadsolutions.com/manu...onversion.html

By disconnecting the "one side" - the ring gear will mostly stop turning with the rotation being done by the spider gears which are pretty low friction. Probably as E-rock say there is a kit to do this - but i bet it is really expensive and you may NEVER recover your investment.
