toyota highlander 06 will turn over but will not start.?

Default toyota highlander 06 will turn over but will not start.?
It started for a min then made a noise and cut out and would not start back. it turns over just wont start. Put in new battery still nothing. Acts like it is out of gas

Fuel pump. Also check fuel pressure, spark plugs, coils, and wires. Oh, and look a the EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) fuse.

Could be anything. Need top to bottom diagnostic. Check engine light on? If yes there will be codes stored. Probably place to start is to put a fuel pressure gage on it and see if it is building pressure? Pump off? Pump failed? ECM turning off pump? Put a long screw driver against a fuel injector and against your ear. crank engine - is the injector clicking? If not - ECM not firing injectors. On and on. Pull an ignition coil - put a sprk plug in it and ground the plug body. Crank engine - any spark? Unlikely to be ignition problem - but maybe.
