how do i get my toyota steering wheel unjammed ?

Default how do i get my toyota steering wheel unjammed ?
i was parking it then i took out the key moved the steering wheel and now its jammed...

put key back in and turn it half way. turn wheel left this will unlock it

Your steering wheel is not jammed, it is locked. This is supposed to happened. Put your key into the ignition, turn the wheel, then try to turn the key. Try pushing the wheel left and right. You sort of have to finagle it, jiggle it around a bit.

put the key in the ignition ! now start to turn the key to start the car, at the same time move the steering wheel left n right , , you may have to do this quite forcefully, this should free it up, once you get used to it you will find it quite easy to lock/unlock your steering wheel,

As said but put another way pull the wheel hard to the left or right to take the load off the lock.

thats almost normal on everycar. when the key is out and you move the wheel it locks the steering wheel in place and the lock is part of the ignition(where you put the key in) the key unlocks the mechanism so you have to wiggle the wheel at the same time you turn the key to unlock and take the pressure off the ignition.
