Default 1998 Toyota Corolla "buzzing" w/ Automatic Transmission when revving?
Please help me, I recently bought a 1998 toyota corolla and it seems to make a "metal buzz" when it revs/ or when shifting gears, I don't know if this is normal for these cars...































It will have a little buzz, then when you accelerate it gets higher then ends... and continues until about 60, (but it also happens when you just revv it, so i don't thick it is only when shifting...































Please help me diagnose this,

most common source for your issue is a loose heat shield on the exhaust.















check for a loose heat shield around either the catalytic converter or the exhaust manifold itself. either replace the crusty fasteners of go to a shop and pay 20 bucks and have it tacked on.
