highbeam bulb for low beam?

can you put highbeam bulb where the lowbeam bulb is? because my lowbeam bulbs arent bright so i want to put my highbeam bulbs where the low beams bulbs are.

I'm not sure if that's street legal. Second, I think the size of the low beam is different than the high beam (size meaning in the socket).

If you have DRL (daytime running lights) if you switch the bulbs you will lose the DRL & your high beams will not work.

The best option is to purchase a bulb for your low beams (replace the 2 in pairs). Leave the high beams the way they are. Bulbs are not that expensive for a good pair.

Better to see properly in the dark then annoy drivers form uncoming traffic

You are required to "dim" your lights for oncoming traffic and if replace the low beams with high beams then you could not do so. They do have many different types of bulbs available now that are brighter and still legal and you can check the different types of bulbs available by going to the different manufactures sites. You can also go to walmart or any auto parts store and compare the different bulbs with the information on the back of the package.

no, the bulb will physically not fit, they have been designed so you me or anyone else cannot fit the wrong one in error, but you can buy new brighter bulbs, ie zenon types, that are legal ! check them out at your nearest halfords etc, hope this helps,
