What is the whistling noise i have at idle on tundra?

Default What is the whistling noise i have at idle on tundra?
It's at idle I can only hear when I'm outside. It occurs all the time the truck being cold or warm. 147k miles 4.7 tundra. The truck sometimes rumbled when I'm inside while in park or at stop light. CHECK ENGINE ISNT ON.

I would consider checking the throttle body gasket or intake gasket. Sometimes when a gasket is leaking when under vacuum it will whistle. Hope it helps.

Also could be a vacuum hose leak. The hose could be dry rotted from heat and age. Sometimes you can use a garden hose about a couple feet long or longer and place one end to your ear and the other end just move around till the whistling sound is at it's loudest and more than likely there will be the source of the whistling sound. Just be careful of moving parts such as fan belts when messing around under the hood of a running vehicle.
