Can I put fender flares on a stock 2005 Toyota Tacoma 2wd 2.7L Acc Cab?

Default Can I put fender flares on a stock 2005 Toyota Tacoma 2wd 2.7L Acc Cab?
I have a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 2wd 2.7L Acc Cab. The factory fenders are just kind of plain. I see all these other Tacoma's that look much more beefy with much larger fenders or fender flares, but unfortunately I went the cheap route. Is there a way to add fender flares to make my truck look a bit better without replacing the entire fender? I already added 16" alloy wheels instead of the 15" stock steel wheels. That helped a lot, but it still seems as if it's missing something.

You can buy just the flares, not the whole fender.

Your best bet is to get fibreglass fender flares for the 2005+ Tacoma. They won't be a direct fit as they are made for PreRunners and 4x4s but they will be pretty close. Since they are fibreglass, they will be easy to modify slightly to fit your 2wd Tacoma. They are so similar that they might not actually need any mods but by having fibreglass ones, you are playing it safe in case they do need something. Its easy to trim a bit off the edges, and if you needed to, you could even add a bit of material. Jungle Fender Flares are cheaper than most others and they are fibreglass unlike the common plastic ones that also are less durable.
