Default What do I need to do with my 1999 Toyota Solara? Sound system caused issues.?
I installed an 8 inch sub into my 99 Toyota Camry Solara, ever since, the dashboard lights haven't been working, the ash tray light hasn't been working, sometimes the car wouldn't start, and when you press the lock button on the handheld locker it's supposed to beep once for lock and twice for unlocked. Well, after tightening the attachment to battery from the sub, the car started and beeps came back. But I still can't get these damn dashboard lights to work. I have no idea why, I don't know if it is or isn't a fuse, but I've had someone check them and they can't figure out what it is. Also, my driver side window doesn't roll down, dunno if thats related. (Please answer source or knowledge)

Sounds like you messed up the electrical system with your DIY sound system installation.















Time to take it to the professionals. Be prepared for a steep bill. My dealership charges $95/hour for diagnostics...

As said sounds like you screwed up so take it all out again and get an expert to fit it.
