Default My 2002 Toyota MR 2 Spyder wont start?
My MR 2 was parked last spring with low fuel and must have evaporated out htru summer.. I put 10 gallons in it and the fuel gauge wont budge and car will not start..... everything else works... but light on dash still giving low fuel warning but not possible......whats wrong with this picture????















checked fuel relay and that is not the problem.......

The fuel may have reacted in some way and solidified into a sludge like substance blocking the pipes. I would get it checked bud.

It probably has an air bubble blocking the fuel line. If you can locate the fuel rail under the hood (it supplies fuel to the injectors or throttle body see if it has a plug or a cap that you can remove from the end of it. If it does remove it and turn the ignition key on and leave it on until the air bleeds off and fuel starts to comes out of it then close it, clean off any fuel around the engine compartment and try to start the car. Keep a fire extinguisher handy and do not try to start the car with the line open.
