It probably has an air bubble blocking the fuel line. If you can locate the fuel rail under the hood (it supplies fuel to the injectors or throttle body see if it has a plug or a cap that you can remove from the end of it. If it does remove it and turn the ignition key on and leave it on until the air bleeds off and fuel starts to comes out of it then close it, clean off any fuel around the engine compartment and try to start the car. Keep a fire extinguisher handy and do not try to start the car with the line open.
