91 Toyota corolla won't go over 50 mph?

Default 91 Toyota corolla won't go over 50 mph?
I have a 91 Toyota corolla and the check engine light doesn't come on, everything seems fine the gears were grinder so I got a new transmission for it but it won't go over 50mph that's with the old tranny and the new one. Any idea what it could be?

check the exhaust system back pressure















check the fuel pressure















and then we get into other things like timing belt, tune up and more

It seems to me like the replacement transmission isn't sifting past 2nd gear. I hope you only maladjusted the shifter and when it looks like you're in drive, you're really in low.
