I want a good muddin truck and I was wondering what the best year for a Tacoma was. Thanks.

The best Toyota mudders are PRE-Tacoma. go back to the last of the solid beam front axles (i think this is mid 80's). You can easily do a 3 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift to get maximum clearance for huge mud tires. I say "easily" - you may have to modify the steering column and some other pipes, hoses etc to fit.
