toyota camry wheels/rims bent?

Default toyota camry wheels/rims bent?
My mechanic said I needed new wheels/ rims. 3 of them. 16 inch wheels. I got one from the spare . So now I need 2 in the back. I never noticed any issues, but it was discovered in a car inspection when I had the brakes done. I just need 2 wheels in the back. If I don't get them, what will/will not happen. If happen, how long do I have to wait. Christmas time and I want to wait til spring.thanks

Really depends on how bad the bend is. If they are alloy and the bend/cracking is bad enough this is an explosion risk. In many cases, moderate bends in steel and alloy wheels do not present a danger rather an uncomfortable ride as you may feel "wheel hop", or a vibration. If the tires are holding air fine now, any further distortion to the rims could possibly cause the tires to start leaking through the bead (where the tire seats to the rim).































Take it to another tire shop and ask them if it is a safety issue as I cannot make that call for you since I cannot see the rims first hand.
