Good first car Scion tc Toyota Tacoma?

Default Good first car Scion tc Toyota Tacoma?
Im looking at cars that are kind of near 5000 dollars. Ive been looking at the scion TC because I am looking for something that looks cool and great gas mileage. But that car doesnt have 4 doors but I am curious if that is even that big of a problem. Are there any cars that look like the scion tc or anything with 4 doors. I have been looking at civics too. My dad wants me to get a toyota tacoma but Im not sure what the gas milage would be for that that. and I cant even think of why I would need a truck but I guess it is a small truck.

You probably will not be able to find a nice Scion Tc for $5000. The least I've seen a Tc go for was $7990. I have a 2 door car and yea, it can get annoying, but I like having a 2 door because it looks better. A Tacoma on gas will be up there, but it will not be that bad. A Tacoma under $5000 is almost impossible to find, too. A civic is a very reliable car, especially for a first car. You will be able to find a 2000-2004 civic for $5000, maybe newer. I, myself, am 16 years old and I drive an Oldsmobile Alero, 2 door, and its a very nice car. I would like a little SUV, but I am fine with the Alero. I would consider your best bet would be the civic. You will not be able to find a nice Tc for $5000, and the Tacoma, either. If you have a lot of places to go, the civic has about 35-40mpg, which is excellent. My car only gets about 25mpg. So, if I were you, for your tight budget, go with the Civic.
