I like the looks of the FJ, but I have heard some stories about Toyota. Just wondering.

It's a pretty reliable machine like most Toyotas, but I personally don't like them. It's designed to perform well off road, but it's not the ideal daily driver. To me, it feels like driving a bus. Plus, not having 4 full doors on it really takes out the practicality factor. So to me it's not the worst investment, but I'd rather have the 4Runner.

I just got one. They are great! Off road and on the road. It makes a good daily driver and a great off road machine. Toyota will stop making them at the end of 2012 because it was a limited time thing. It's a throwback from the old fj40. Notice some features that match the old one like the white top, and the grille/headlight housings. This car has great suspension, a decent 4.0 v6 engine. Toyotas are great reliable cars and last longer than most. Of course there are going to be Trolls that say they suck when they probably don't even own one. I would buy one if your looking at buying a new car. Good luck.

Well, they are a Toyota alright, and will last with maintenance, but I've heard the fuel mileage is nothing to brag about, so it's up to YOU based on your priorities.....
