Default 2006 toyota sienna XLE AWD limited VSC and check engine light on?
I have a 2006 toyota sienna XLE AWD limited with 81,000 miles. 6 hours after purchasing gas my check engine and VSC light came on. once i got home i checked me gas cap and it was not on at all. Next day i went to Autozone and the printout read : aa1- open or short circuit condition, aa2- poor electrical connection, aa3- failed oxygen sensor, and aa4- EFI relay fault..... what does this all mean?

It is not a big deal. The check engine light came on because the OBDII system ran a pressurization check on the fuel tank and it failed when the gas cap was off. With the gas cap in place and tight, the codes should be resettable and all will be well. The VSC light will come on when almost anything is wrong - the VSC system demands everything being correct before it will perform its balancing act. I expect the other vague codes are pending codes. Fords and Toyotas love to display pending codes that rarely amount to anything.































If you don't have the codes reset the check engine light will go away eventually, but it will probably be a week or more.

pull the EFI main fuse for 30 secs. that resets the ecu and clears codes. if that doesn't work, there's still an issue. take it back to where you got it. have them sort it out. or take it to the dealer.
