Default engine tuning toyota corolla?
can anyone give me a short explanation of engine tuning?































i own a 2011 toyota corolla sport and it feels like it is too weak on horsepower, i was reading about how engine tuning can make it better. Does it really make it more powerful? and how much would it cost to do this?

its 2011 it shouldnt need tuning but try replacing your air filters and your plugs

Sounds like you've discovered what a poser car the S really is. It's "all show and no go." Should've bought the real deal.... the XRS!!

Any performance part you buy will make your Corolla louder and feel a bit faster, but it will not be any faster. At least not noticable.































A Turbo Kit is the only way to go for serious power that you can feel. $6000 with all the parts you need including engine rebuilding with forged pistons and rods designed to handle the boost of a turbo kit.
