Default TOYOTA MR-2 Spyder convertible top collects water?
I have a 2000 TOYOTA MR-2 Spyder and lately whenever it rains or when I wash it, water collects on either side between the hull of the car and the interior. I hear it sloshing around when I drive and to get it out I have to lower the top a little and stick my hand in there. This is a new problem. Why isn't the water draining out?

The drains are plugged on the rain rail. Either dirt and debris or some practical joker stuck a penny down them.

I used to have the same problem with my Porsche Boxster.































Convertibles have a drain plug for water. Sometimes, those plugs get clogged with leaves, twigs, or small sticks that fall from trees.































The drainplug is preventing the water from draining. Fine the area filled with water by sticking your hand back there and try to unclog the leak. It might feel gross because of the old goo-ee leaves stuck back there.
