Default 4 cylinder Toyota Tacoma?
Does the 2001 2.7 4 cylinder Toyota Prerunner have a metal timing chain or something else? Must it be changed at 100K miles? What can I expect to have done at 100K mile maintenance?

it has a belt,, change it about 130 k

it must have a belt at i think 100K

both 2RZ?FE and 3RZ?FE I4 engines are chain driven with vibration dampeners. the 3RZ?FE incorporates two balance shafts as well. both have no maintenance/service schedule on those.































i can supply you with the maint schedule on the engine itself. but what you really need is to contact toy and get the owner manual specific to your entire vehicle.
